why i am losing faith/trust/interest in humanity

i was explaining the residency requirements of bankruptcy a little while ago. the conversation went like this:

me: "your boyfriend will have to be in VA for the better part of six months to file for bankruptcy, so at least 91 days."
woman: "don't you mean 180 days?"
me: "no, the better part of six months is three months, so at least 91 days."
woman: "oh, oh, i get you i get you. i was thinking, what is this girl a retard?"

there was a man on the train today eating an entire bag of bagels. he asked dan if he had any "soda or water" on him. he munched munched munched away. real creep. when he was finished he left the bag on the train. dan posed that he may have found them when he got on. i'd like to think so.

yesterday on the train dan and i sat 100 ft away from the addison brown line stop for 10 minutes as we listened to some redneck pile go on and on about this stupid phone he just bought, his wife's stupid job proposals, and these youtube clips from a family member under the name "fiddlerchick24." i still need to look at those.

today we are being rewarded at work. we can leave 3 hrs early and get paid for those hours. i am looking forward to eating some roseangela's pizza out in beverly.

yesterday, dan, steve, eric and i were stuck in an elevator going up to the 7th floor food court in macy's for 40 minutes. two other women were in the elevator w us, and one of them immediately stated that she "is extremely claustrophobic." we cracked jokes the entire time, were yelled at by some jerk technician when we got off (who told us not to get on the elevator bc it was broken), and then received a card for free lunch from the assistant manager of that macy's. i want to eat at the walnut room but i'm sure i'll just end up eating in the stupid basement food court on my own dime.

i also received a surprise visit from chad (brandon's brother) late tuesday evening. much drama. i'm glad i was home to open my door for him.

things i have been doing to keep myself busy at work:

-yelp (which was fun for 4 days and now it's totally boring)

dan and i leave for our trip next friday. this is jumping up so fast!!

an exciting day

two wandering jews just left the office i work in after they attempted to spread whatever sect of the religion they ascribe to. they claimed that they "met a jewish colleague on the street" and were given the ok to run around the office trying to convert people. they couldn't be more than 18 and i am now totally distracted from doing any work. ben received some pamphlets from them after discussion bar mitzvahs and he just gave me the pamplet so i'll SEE YOU L8R!!!!
